Turning Twenty Seven

Oh my gosh! I cannot believe I am turning a year older again. How do I feel about it? I’m fine with it…well let’s see if I will still be fine with it after a couple of more years when wrinkles start to show up and I have to die my hair every 2 months because I have more gray hairs :P

What I can say is that I am grateful for having a good life and wonderful husband…all I want now is my baby.

I don’t really know yet what I am going to do for my birthday, we will certainly not be celebrating it in some fancy Toronto hotels unless somebody sponsor me and my family to do that.

I was thinking of cooking and inviting few family and friends here but then again I thought it’s my birthday, I shouldn’t be working :P so Ithought of just going to my favorite restaurant with hubby and my brother … still choosing between Serenity at Vivo City or to Fish and Co.

Spam Online and Offline

Do you remember when you were young, receiving mail is really a special thing. I can still remember when I was young, I always enjoyed opening our mailbox, I looked forward to letters from friends and family that the postman will bring .

Nowadays, mail boxes are also filled by spams – all kinds of advertisement, it’s really annoying. I already get so much spam on my inbox and then I also have to deal with them offline.

I can’t wait to live in the middle of nowhere because I am sure when I open our Residential Mailboxes there, it would only contain letters that are really important.

Visiting Finland?

If you are going to Finland I suggest you search for a majoitus before you go as you don’t want to be looking around for a place to stay where not many people speak English. But I must say, even though communication is quite difficult, you would find Finnish people to be very friendly.

I have been to Finland once to help out my brother- in- law build a house. I was  very excited to go there as that was my second trip within the EU countries. We stayed for a day in Helsinki.

It was a sort of work vacation for us. Well, we really didn’t got paid or anything but we did it just for fun and to help him out. We went to Saimaa, it’s a four hour drive from Helsinki. We stayed in a Mökki. It’s an house built with tree trunks. A mökki normally has a traditional Finnish sauna, a barbecue area, and is usually nearby a lake where you could easily take a dive or explore the lake with a canoe.

It’s so wonderful to be so close to nature. If you want to visit Finland stay in a Hotelli for a day or two but make sure you explore the surroundings.
