BC Bloggers’ Party – Get to Know Me
This is my post for the BC Bloggers’ Party, for some that don’t know me yet, I am Jade, a 27 
years old woman, a mommawannabe and a blogaholic.
I was born and raised in a small town called Novaliches. While still in college, I met my husband and got married shortly. I moved to the Netherlands with my Dutch husband (of 7 years going 8 this year) . We lived there for more than 4 years. I learned their language and their culture and became a Dutch citizen. It was a wonderful 4 years.
My husband then got a job offer in Singapore and of course we went for it. Not only taxes will be cheaper but the climate would be even better. We loved living in Singapore.
When we moved here, I find myself a bit lost or maybe homesick. I started blogging out of boredom and loneliness. I loved to read and write so I thought why not write my thoughts and experiences while living abroad to keep myself busy.
Living in a foreign country without any friends is hard but I am glad I found blogging. I have met several good online friends including the mastermind of BC Bloggers’ – Paula and of course the members of the Marce Club, hot godmomma’s of Pehpot’s darling Sati. Blogging has not only gave me new friends from all over the world but it also gave me a chance in earning some extra cash by writing about different stuff (if you are wondering what kind of posts I write to get paid, it does varies, sometimes it’s about Clinicallix reviews and sometimes it could be about wedding).
I have been blogging since January 2008. This blog here, Life of Filipina Blogger, is my very first blog where I write about my experiences here in Singapore and then came MommaWannabe where I write about my journey to mommahood. After 2 blogs I just couldn’t stop anymore, so the number of blogs I have multiplied:
- The Pinay Blogger @ Home – where I share home improvement tips
- Diva Fabulosa – where I write about my love for fashion and celebrity news,
- Health and Beauty Diva – my attempt in becoming a health buff,
- Happy Home and Family - a blog focused on having a happy family life
- Earthfriendly Momma where I share my love for our planet by sharing with you green tips and ideas.
For some reason, people think I am a snob. I am not, I am just really shy ( wehehe totoo yun!), but once I warmed up to you, you will see how chatty I am. I love helping out and sharing my knowledge. So if you are a newbie blogger, who has some questions whether it be about setting up blogs or earning from blogs, I am just an email away.

hi, i found you so pretty. tama nga naman sabi mo iba ang nasa abroad ,I’m working overseas,and I found it boring. kaya na aadict ko sa chat at nag sawa din then I found blogging more interesting than enything else. btw, glad to meet you here! hope you can visit mine too. I started signing up blogging last february but updated lang ngayon. so, i’m consider myself as a new blogger!
