Vehicle repairs in our small town
We live in a very small town and sometimes finding what you need can be a headache. Like we need to get one of our vehicles repaired but to find a mechanic that really knows what they are doing is a major headache here.
So if you are here with your rv and finds yourself needing a rv towing company, Goodluck my friend! You will not find one. It will take couple of years before this town is really developed but I guess this is not all bad. Life is actually more enjoyable when you don’t have all those fancy stores to visit.
Big and Clumsy
There are times when I feel a bit bored here. I cannot always come wherever hubby goes because hubby doesn’t want me to hurt myself by tripping on trunks or stones on the ground since I am becoming bigger and clumsier everyday! I must say that’s true
.
I cannot always be online either because my internet connection sucks. Maybe it’s time to bring out my box of jewelry making supplies and start making jeweleries again. I don’t know yet where I will sell the jewelries I will make but it would at least keep me busy while we are waiting to move in to our home.
Waiting to move in
We have been here in the farm for two months now and so far so good but we are just dying to move in to our permanent dwelling. Living in the guesthouse is nice and all but I want to unpack and have access to all our stuff and we can only do that when our house is done.
There are times that I wish to make something for our house like sew some curtains for example but to find the box that contains my sewing machine would be a major headache. I wish the moving people have labeled our boxes better so we could find our things easily.
Oh well there’s not much we can do about it now,we just have to make do of the few items in the few briefcases we have with us at the moment.
One sleepless night in the farm
It was a typical Thursday night, after our dinner we walked back to the guesthouse and took a bath after our long day. Jules and I sat a little bit outside and talked about our plans and stared at the horizon.
At around 7 pm we went inside to watch a movie. Halfway watching the movie, we heard loud music playing. “It must be the Karaoke bar in the village”, we thought. We didn’t mind because they usually stop at around 10 or 11 pm. We went to sleep 9:30, I dozed off right away as I was pretty tired. At around 1 pm we were woken up by the music, I was surprised to still hear music so late.
We went to pee and went back to sleep. It was kinda difficult to sleep again but after awhile I managed to sleep again. At 3 pm we were woken up by a much louder music … “Oh my gosh, don’t this people sleep” I thought. I pitied those who were living closer to wherever they are playing music nonstop. Even if they had the finest matouk linen, I don’t think they could get sleep with so much noise.
It turns out, someone was about to get married the next day so they had a dance party the night before. I do hope that not everybody who would get married in the village will be like this.
