Mood Swings and Weight Loss

Jul 12, 2009 under Health, Women Talk

I’ve just read a couple of diet pill reviews (including a nice apidexin review that caught my attention) and I’ve visited forums that talk about weight loss worries. In some of the sites I visited, I can’t help but notice how most dieters are anxious about ‘mood’ side effects when choosing which diet program to use.

I can understand that dieting can affect mood because of the initial shock brought about by changes in eating habits, but what if the mood swings are brought about by the weather or the psychological effect of people we interact with regularly?

My take on the issue of mood swings occurrence during weight loss has something to do with the fact that people will naturally resent not being able to eat what they want or laze off all day doing nothing.

Let’s face it, we acquired all the weight we want to lose because we were a bit lax with our diet and exercise habits in the past. So, the lifestyle change that comes about when you finally deal with all the weight you accumulated will almost always put you in a bad mood.

However, we cannot ditch the theory that chemical changes brought about by some diet pills may be causing the changes in a person’s mood. This is because our body naturally reacts with any supplement we introduce to our system.

  3. How ironic – I have only tried one diet pill in my life and it was this one (four months ago). I didn’t notice any changes in my mood but I did have trouble sleeping and felt sick so I stopped taking it after a week (and didn’t lose any weight). I was dumb and didn’t get my refund, though, so I’m tempted to open my bottle again to see if I have a better experience next time because I don’t want to think I wasted my money! :(

Thank you so much for wishing me a happy blog anniversary and the nice comment. I really like your blog :)
