Finding a reputable moving company
When we decided to move to a new place in January, we made sure that everything would be done correctly. I researched for a moving company for several weeks. I want one that had a good reputation.
I went to expat forums and read the feedbacks of all the companies that were tried and tested by fellow expats.
And then I also asked our Realtor if he can recommend a good moving company. After the research, I decided on the company that my realtor recommended. I contacted them and asked some questions. We then scheduled to have their surveyor come to our place to check out the volume of our stuff.
We had several valuable electronics like the massage chair, tv and pc – so we asked if they offer insurance, they did actually. Through email they sent me the quote for the move together with the insurance quotes the day after their visit.
I was pretty happy with how everything went.
