Coffee drinking with friends

Koffie drinken is what we call visiting somebody – a friend’s home usually in The Netherlands – chit chatting and well for Filipinas it always involves eating. Yes meeting up there is not complete without eating rice and various Filipino dishes. Most of the time there would be fried fish and two to three other viands.

Sometimes the host prepare everything but we can also decide to do it pot luck style where everyone brings one dish. It’s not mandatory but it makes it bit easier for the host. I like meeting these women because I learn a lot from them. They shared with me lots of homemaking tips during those times.

koffie-drinken-21 Mom visited us in Holland and I brought her to one of the Koffie drinken with Friends

Oh I just miss those good old days in Holland. I remembered these past events in my life when I came across this Keurig Coffee Makers online – this coffee maker looks very much of what we had in the past.

If you are a coffee lover, you just need to get on of these babies! They are marvelous – it’s like having a Starbucks at your very own home. If you want to order this or know more about these product, visit GreatCoffie.com

  6. If one enjoyed the moment, it will always be remembered. I’m sure you’re full of wonderful memories back in Netherlands. It shows in your beautiful smile!

  7. Fish, rice and chit chat with friends, you describe the perfect common day Thai village life. Simplicity is a ten letter word and prosperity the same, poles apart springs to mind. Westerner, Asian, rich, poor, I know I would much rather count the fish caught than the money made. All the best from BTMJ in Pattaya.
