Work and No play
Hubby just left for Texas this morning for an emergency business trip. His boss called him yesterday early in the morning to tell him the bad news. Five of his colleagues just resigned! That was a shocker! We suspect that his former boss that recently left the company offered these guys jobs in the new company she is working for.
He was actually about to leave in 2 weeks but with what happened, they need to do some damage control and find replacement for his peers as soon as possible. This means he would be extra busy the coming months.
He has been working too much the last couple of months. I wish we can take off sometime and just relax and not think of work or making a baby you know. I am a bit tired from working too to be honest, I need some change.
I wonder if traveling is cheaper now due to the recession and if so would there be cheap Vegas vacations too? I mean Vegas is known for gambling and partying. I always wanted to see Vegas but I won’t be really gambling or so – I just wanna see how it looks like.

spending money like buying and traveling is good for the economy during recession. this is to make sure there’s a circulation of money.
what i’m not sure is, if making a baby during recession will help

It’s crazy – we’ve been looking into some air tickets and they’re RIDICULOUS! A flight from here to San Diego used to cost $150 – now it’s almost $600.
Hope you and the hubby are able to squeeze in some QT – and hopefully bring in the pitter patter of little feet soon! *hugs!*

@ Mammadawg – That’s crazy huh, I thought it would be cheaper now!
How I wish but with 5 people gone, he might get extra load. I hope they do find somebody right away and give hubby a big fat bonus too;)
